Hello well I guess I'm not a very good blogger opps I'm going to try real hard to get this blog rolling more then I have been. I'm glad to see that people are actually coming here to those of you who do thank you! Wow March is almost here where has the time gone? It appears that I don't really have a whole lot to say right now I've been trying to scrap alot however it takes me forever to pick a sketch then the darn papers by the time I'm ready to go I don't want to scrap anymore it figures eh? I'd like to say a big congratulations to a few lady's that I know online for making verious DT's(design teams) lately I've amired your telent for many years now and am excited to see their talent being rewarded :)

Thank goodness for Baking Soda

Yesterday I had a fire in my stove as I had forgotten that I had tucked some stuff in the oven to hide it from our guests on Saturday. I had totally forgotten that I has put that stuff in there so I set the oven to 400 and went back in the living room where the kids were playing then all of the sudden I heard a big pop and went to see what was going on only to suddenly remember that I had put stuff in there on Saturday so I shut it off however there was a pretty big fire by now the plastic bowls I had in there were all melted and there was smoke billowing out of the vent hole like crazy so I quickly opened all the windows down stairs at this point Kieran was freaking out so I tried to calm him down and think of what i could use to put out the fire I couldn't use water, we don't have a fire extinguisher so I was going to call the fire department when I remembered that baking soda would do the trick so I put on the oven mitts grabed the box of baking soda and put out the fire Thank god for baking Soda or I would have had no choice but call the fire department which would not have been good! the oven was a huge mess but luckly all the melted plastic came off really easly except for a few spots in which I used a butchers knife to scrape it off. we lost 2 plastic bowls a muffin pan and an oven rack so my lesson is learned do not put anything in the oven for any reason other then to cook it right away.

Blah

Well it's February and I really want to get my weight loss going again I want to try and loose 40 -50 pounds by the end of May for my 30th Birthday however it's really hard to get going again :( I have the desire and want to get going again it's basically just the motivation that's lacking. I've been using http://www.sparkpeople.com since February 2006 on and off mind you however last year I really made an effort to really use it and I had some good results finally I lost 32 pounds in 08 and I want to loose the rest of my 70 pounds in 2009 to be at my goal weight of 120 pounds for Christmas I I wan't this to happen I seriously need to get going and be on track pretty much the whole time to make this happen. what I really need is a weight loss buddy that's local I do have one on Spark people however she's become a co leader to 2 teams and really hasn't thoughed base with me in a long while :( I really don't want to be a fat girl anymore I'm sick of it truly I am!!! anyways I'm feeling sorry for myself and really need motivation and PDQ(pretty damn quick)

Well it's Saturday Afternoon and I have a lot to do I need to get Banana bread going in my bread machine start the turkey meatloaf, make Blueberry muffins, clean the living room and kitchen, and do dishes all before company comes to play Rock Band 2. Colour me impressed that the house is a mess and Joe invites people over. It's a online crop weekend at SkrapNChat and I haven't don't a layout yet :( I had big plans to try and get them all done I guess we'll see how that pan's out I do have until Wednesday to finish and upload so maybe just maybe they'll get done.

I should be scrapping however I have a wicked headache that isn't going away :( The kids had a late nap and are up watching wall E and driving me crazy. Joe's at a Manitoba Moose game. I'm hoping to get a bit of scrappin done if the kids will just sit still and watch their movie.

In other news Joe won an x box from his work and it has alot of the fixings that go with it I think Rock band is in there along with other games and such that's kinda exciting as it's a huge prize Yay Joe! I wonder if anyone actually comes here?

New Camera

I'm so excited my new Canon Power shot 8.0 mega pixel camera came yesterday. I had ordered it Last Wednesday threw Air Miles and am very impressed that it only took a week to arrive when it said it would take 4 weeks. I took a bunch of pictures of layouts I had that needed uploading so it got a good workout ;)

Yeah I finally am getting this blog somewhere I learnd how to add a new background that wasn't provided by blogger I'll learn how to make this blog more interesting as time goes by! I'm so excited that I figured this out!!!
